Presentation of the prosthesis

The Stening® is a tracheal or bronchial prosthesis, molded in a single-piece, non-frame, single-use silicone rubber; its purpose is to keep the airway open in cases of stenosis due to disorders of various etiologies.

It is capable of offering a proper support in tracheomalacia and collapse of the cartilaginous wall.

Stening ® also produces laryngology devices, cannulas and T-tubes for adult and pediatric patients.

Shapes, dimensions and sizes:

• Single-piece, simple tubular shape with variable lengths ranging from 20 mm. to 100 mm.
• External fixing spurs distributed in its surface.
• Variable diameters ranging from 5 to 17 millimeters.

The Stening® has an exceptional resilience and hardness, with diameter memory and high transparency. Its very fine granulation provides a homogeneous surface reducing the risk of secretion accumulation.
